Abstract

The handicapped person communications aid enables such a person to compose a text and to give instructions. The system has a transmitter detector (1 or 15) which is carried by the handicapped person or placed in proximity to him. The transmitter detector (1 or 15) transmits the persons movements into two distinct types of coded data signals (A and B). The system has a receiver (2) which is tuned to the transmitter signals and is remote from the transmitter. A decoder (3) processes the signals received and passes them to a viewer (4) and or a memory or a graphical indication (5) of the composed text.
