Abstract

L'invention fournit un appareil de chauffage pour chauffer des pièces d'habitation et servant de plinthe, dans lequel la chaleur est transmise par un agent chauffant gazeux ou liquide tel que de la vapeur ou de l'eau chaude qui circule dans des conduits ménagés dans le carter de l'appareil. Le carter 2 est un profilé en métal, de préférence en un alliage de métal ayant une conductivité thermique élevée tel qu'un alliage d'aluminium, et ce profilé comporte des bourrelets internes creux 3 venus de matière et s'étendant longitudinalement pour assurer la circulation de l'agent chauffant; le carter contenant les conduits pour l'agent chauffant peut ainsi être fabriqué en une seule opération par extrusion.
