Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé pour l'élimination d'anhydride sulfureux de fumées le contenant. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'on fait entrer l'effluent gazeux contenant de l'anhydride sulfureux au contact d'une solution aqueuse contenant un sel alcalin d'un acide organique et du gypse cristallin solide, et en ce qu'on insuffle ensuite dans la solution aqueuse qui a absorbé l'anhydride sulfureux de l'oxygène, de l'air, ou un autre gaz contenant de l'oxygène, tout en maintenant le pH de ladite solution dans une plage comprise entre 5 et 9 par addition d'un composé de calcium. Elle se rapporte à des systèmes d'épuration de fumées.The present invention relates to a process for removing sulfur dioxide from fumes containing it.
