Abstract

Elément de friction, notamment pour frein à disques. Il comporte une couche de friction dont au moins une face 12-13 constitue une surface de frottement de l'élément de friction, et qui est constituée par un assemblage de strates 15 d'un matériau de friction ayant une conductivité thermique élevée, notamment de carbone. Les strates sont assemblées avec une disposition de type en rosette, disposition suivant laquelle chaque strate s'étend depuis la surface de frottement sur toute l'épaisseur de la couche en étant inclinée par rapport à la surface de frottement. Cet élément convient pour la réalisation de freins à disques multiples.
