Abstract

The combined wall-plug and roller-blind support may be of moulded synthetic material, and has elastic tongues (6, 7) which retain the axle (A) in place. The tongues (6, 7) define a tapered inlet (3) for the axle (A), yield elastically as it enters, and spring back to retain it. In cross section at the bearing zone (2), the support comprises a thick walled hollow cylinder (1) with a lateral slot. The walls of the slot converge on the bore and an excess of 180 deg. of bearing surface (2) is provided. The tongues (6, 7) cantilever (4) in from the outer wall of the cylinder (1) and terminate in a part cylindrical face (8, 9) to match the axle (A).
