Abstract

The vehicle has a ramp (516) which rotates on a vertical axis and a control ram (VI) for altering the angular position horizontally. The ram is pivoted on the ramp and a body pivoting relative to the vehicle body. The firing module consists of the ramp and a protection cover (512). The cover pivots on a longitudinal axis and its inside carries a rack to support missiles. It also forms the closure for the firing compartment. The pivot for the cover and ramp is solid with a cradle and can be tilted about a horizontal axis, carried by an arm solid with the pivoting body. The cover is of armour and has locking device and is shaped to reduce the vehicle silhouette.
