Abstract

The system packs a product in sterile surroundings, vessels being formed by hot shaping in a plastics strip which is sterile n the side forming the vessel inner wall. Shaping and filling take place in a sterile chamber at a slightly higher pressure than the surrounding atmosphere. The sides and top and bottom are at least partly formed from the strip, to which a covering strip, likewise ser on the inside, is sealed round the opening. A composite strip (10) has vessel (11) and cover (12) strip, whose sterile faces are isolated from the outside an and towards each other, bearing against other sterile faces. The strips are separated from each other on entering the sterile chamber (16), and the cover strip is moved along a curved path covering that of the container strip through the shaping (18) and filling (33) stations.
