Abstract

The floorboard is partic. suitable for industrial buildings, as it is made of inferior quality wood, and is economical in use. Each panel is made of rough wood made up of small strips which may contain defects or be butt-joined. The strips are assembled together and stuck along the serrated edges which are machined on them. A flat surface possessing high mechanical strength and smooth finish is obtd. The panels thereby obtd. can be assembled together by means of tongue and groove method.
