Abstract

Procédé pour séparer l'ammoniac d'un mélange gazeux contenant de l'ammoniac et de l'acide cyanhydrique (cyanure d'hydrogène). Il consiste à mettre ce mélange gazeux en contact, dans un stade d'absorption C, avec une liqueur absorbante constituée d'une solution de nitrate d'ammonium acidifiée pour absorber sélectivement l'ammoniac du mélange et former une solution d'acidité réduite, à ajouter de l'acide nitrique à la solution contenant le nitrate d'ammonium d'acidité réduite pour ramener son acidité à la valeur initiale, et à recycler cette solution régénérée au stade d'absorption.
