Abstract

Heating and ventilating for heat deformable optical mounting arrangements. The system provides a uniform air flow throughout the entire mounting volumes preventing movement of one region with respect to another. The ventilation channels are set in all three planes each open on three sides running along the length of the mounting, cooling channels running parallel to these in part. The overall arrangement resulting in cooling channels which are somewhat larger than those used for heating. The overall shell includes the ventilator motor, the shell vertical wall defining the cooling channels and providing openings inclined towards the base of the channels.
