Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de contrôle du mouvement d'un convoyeur de front de taille Ledit appareil comporte une source primaire montée dans une galerie et un signal optique émis par la source réfléchie par un réflecteur placé sur le convoyeur pour être renvoyé à un récepteur situé à proximité de la source. Un circuit de traitement détermine un mouvement angulaire du convoyeur. Un dispositif optique ou transistor à corde détecte la distance entre la source et le convoyeur. Le circuit de traitement peut déterminer le mouvement du convoyeur d'après les mesures d'angles et de distances. Application aux systèmes d'abattage de charbon au long front de taille.
