Abstract

The distribution panel for houses, etc. has an interchangeable base plate (16) used to couple the correct voltages to the different installations supplied in accordance with the mains voltage input. Above the base plate various junction box units etc. (13) are mounted and the connections (11, 12) for wiring up the individual electrical installations are at the top of the distribution panel. The latter is enclosed by a casing (1) secured to a wall carrying the chassis (4) on which the parts of the distribution panel are mounted, with removable front panels (22, 24) screwed into position to shield the connections (11, 12) at the top and the base plate (16) at the bottom.
