Abstract

the display stand comprises a series of support elements for different articles, driven around a closed path via a chain or pulley drive system. The support elements may either be formed as vertical slats, joined together to form an endless flexible web, or as independent vertical panels (1), driven horizontally around the closed path one after the other, via a horizontal drive chain (2a, 2b) or pulley cooperating with means (3) secured to the upper and/or lower edges of each panel (1). In either case a roller wheel (9) is secured to the bottom of each support element and resting on a horizontal support surface (10).
