Abstract

Procédé de commande pour un dispositif d'affichage à plusieurs chiffres dont les divers éléments se composent dune électrode de commande commune, d'une électrode de sélection individuelle et d'un cristal liquide interposé, les électrodes de sélection correspondantes des divers chiffres étant reliées entre elles. Selon le procédé de l'invention, sont appliqués aux électrodes de commande h1 , h2 des trains d'impulsions de phases différentes, et aux divers groupes d'électrodes de sélection a1 , a2 ... g1 , g2 d'autres trains d'impulsions dont la phase diffère de celle des trains précédents, et l'on différencie la durée relative d'application des impulsions aux divers éléments d'affichage selon qu'on désire les faire apparaître ou non sur l'écran du dispositif. Application notamment à l'équipement des horloges et chronomètres électroniques à affichage numérique.
