Abstract

The blank of corrugated cardboard has its edges cut and folded up to form a box. The long sides (12) extend beyond the length of the box and are folded over and glued to the sides (13) to provide a rigid structure. The sides have tongues (16) and cut-outs (17) to engage in the cut-outs (17) of a superposed box to facilitate stacking. A cover is similarly made from a cardboard blank with the edges folded over and glued to the outside of the walls of the box. The centre part of the cover is removed leaving a narrow flange all round.
