Abstract

La prothèse selon l'invention comporte un élément fémoral 13 ayant une tête sensiblement hémisphérique 29 reliée par un col à une tige de section sensiblement ovale à surface lisse et ayant des dimensions décroissant régulièrement vers l'extrémité distale pour l'implantation dans le canal médullaire M du fémur F avec interposition d'un ciment C, de façon que la tige puisse être ressortie du fémur sans détériorer celui-ci, et un élément cotyloïde 15 comportant une cavité 31 pour recevoir la tête 29 et une surface extérieure avec des nervures pour l'engagement dans une cavité de l'os iliaque A avec interposition de ciment C.
