Abstract

An electronic switching circuit is used for periodic currents esp. those used in regulation or repetitive and periodic control usually requiring anti-parasitic circuits. The switching circuit is based on the use of a differential amplifier to provide the trigger signals for the interrupter proper. The circuit may use a thyristor, the alternating polarity across which is fed to the inverting input of the amplifier via a potential dividing bridge or it may be a triac in which case the two alternating polarities are fed respectively to the two amplifier inputs via a diode bridge. The amplifier controls a transistor relay in the gate circuit or the triac.
