Abstract

Conformément à l'invention, on sépare du pétrole paraffinique, en 1, une coupe de distillation paraffineuse ayant un intervalle d'ébullition de 5 à 95 % en volume de 313 à 402 degrés C à pression atmosphérique. A l'aide d'un solvant, on sépare en 11 un extrait et un produit raffiné; ce dernier est soumis en 12 à un déparaffinage à une température comprise entre -23 et -40 degrés C par un solvant formant deux phases liquides non miscibles, et on obtient une dispersion à trois phases : une phase paraffineuse, une phase liquide riche en huile et une phase liquide riche en solvant ; on filtre la dispersion 13 à une température comprise entre -23 et -40 degrés C; le filtrat est une phase riche en solvant qui contient l'huile pour transformateurs recherchée, qu'on peut isoler par évaporation du solvant. On obtient par ce procéde une huile pour transformateurs à bas point de goutte à partir de pétroles bruts peu coûteux parce qu'ils sont paraffineux.
