Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour surveiller la concentricité de revêtements de fibres optiques. On détermine la concentricité ou l'excentricité d'un revêtement de matière plastique d'une fibre optique en surveillant l'absence ou la présence d'une crête d'intensité particulière dans le dessin de lumière diffractée renvoyée, engendré par un faisceau lumineux tombant sur la fibre, tandis que la fibre est étirée, revêtue et tirée à travers le faisceau lumineux. L'invention s'applique dans l'industrie de la fabrication des fibres optiques.
