Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un appareil d'entraînement de ruban destiné à être utilisé dans des imprimantes imprimant sur supports d'enregistrement. L'appareil comprend un dispositif d'entraînement, un dispositif d'encrage et un dispositif de guidage guidant le ruban devant un poste d'impression. Le dispositif de guidage a au moins une surface comportant des saillies oblongues orientées dans le sens de déplacement du ruban. Dans la réalisation préférée, le dispositif de guidage revêt la forme d'un U et un ruban sans fin est entraîné le long de ce dispositif par un galet d'entraînement qui est en contact avec un galet d'encrage. Le ruban encré compone une partie lâche ou << mou >> dans la zone se situant immédiatement en aval du galet d'entraînement mais le ruban est raide ou tendu en travers de la partie ouverte du guide ainsi qu'en amont du galet d'entraînement. Le guide présente une surface nervurée avec des flasques espacés pour maintenir le ruban selon un chemin précis devant un poste d'impression. La partie lâche ou << mou >> du ruban encre permet au ruban d'adhérer ou de suivre les surfaces nervurées et permet également au ruban d'atteindre un flasque du guide.
