Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d'asservissement de la distance d'un outil devant une surface en défilement et susceptible de réfléchir des ondes à hyperfréquence. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on dispose en regard de la surface S à suivre au moins un élément rayonnant directif 9 fixe par rapport à l'outil T, on recueille simultanément le rayonnement réfléchi par ladite surface sur ledit élément rayonnant, on compare en 12, la phase de l'onde d'émission et de l'onde réfléchie et on utilise le signal issu de la comparaison en 19, pour l'asservissement. Application aux machines automatiques de soudage.
