Abstract

The pallet is used for air transportation and for dropping loads by parachute. It comprises an outer casing (2) made from a fibre reinforced synthetic resin and has parallel flat top and bottom surfaces (5). The rectangular top surface has rope tying loops along its longer sides. Internally, the casing is filled with a shock absorbent material (3) and covered with natural or synthetic fibres on its six sides (4). The longitudinal sides of the pallet have a bar positioned internally and covered with folded fibres (6). The top surface has an anti skid covering and the bottom outer surface has low friction properties.
