Abstract

Procédé et dispositif de lutte contre l'incendie, dans lequel un liquide extincteur, en particulier de l'eau, est répandu par un aeronef sur le lieu de l'incendie. Le dispositif comporte un réservoir ouvert 1 destiné à contenir le liquide extincteur, qui est monté de manière à pouvoir tourner autour d'un axe horizontal 3 situé en dessous du centre de gravité 12 du réservoir 1 rempli de liquide et qui peut être immobilisé dans la position dans laquelle le côté ouvert 10 du réservoir se trouve en dessus au moyen d'un dispositif de blocage, lequel peut être libéré à partir de l'aéronef pour produire automatiquement une rotation libre d'environ 180 degrés , à partir de la position instable précitée du réservoir rempli, afin de vider celui-ci brusquement. Application : lutte contre les incendies de forêt ou de grande étendue.
