Abstract
Spectral analysis of fluctuating luminous source is preformed by isolating wavelengths of the rays in a time sequence. Each ray intensity is measured during several successive sequences and results are summed. A luminous source (1) being analysed illuminates an optical slit (2) and a collimator (3) projects its image onto rotating disc filter (4). Coded discs (6, 7) on the same axis os the filter provide synchronous marks detected by phototransistors (6a, 7a). A photomultiplier (9) receives incident photons from the filter and its output pulses are amplified (10) prior to gating (11) with counter (14) contents. These signals pass via a counter (16) operating with a memory n17) which also receives synch. signals from coded discs (6, 7). Results of analyses are presented for data readout (18).
