Abstract

L'invention concerne un trépan de forage au diamant. La face inférieure du trépan est taillée en gradins, percés de cavités où se logent des tenons équipés de porte-outils contenant des outils prémoulés, formés de diamants, d'un abrasif et d'une gangue métallique. Ces outils de coupe forment des alignements. Les gradins et les outils sont disposés en spirale sur la face du trepan, depuis le centre jusquà la périphérie. L'arrière des outils s'appuie sur les cavités, pour transmettre la poussée à la face du trépan. Les débris s'évacuent par des canaux alimentés en fluide de forage. Les faces de coupe des outils sont orientées dans la même direction angulaire. L'invention s'applique aux trépans de forage équipés de diamants naturels ou synthétiques.
