Abstract

Modular casting unit for mfg. ceramic mouldings, employ as (a) a row of devices driven at a desired speed and pref. including casting, setting, draining, and drying; with (b) a second row of devices not travelling at a desired speed, and pref. including stripping the casting from its mould; transport of the castings to a storage zone; and then transport of the castings to a stove. The stove is pref. located on a different floor level to the other plant. Several modular units are pref. used and lead to a single storage zone.
