Abstract

Self-supporting, heat insulating building panels consist of two outer sheets contg. between them heat-insulating foam. They arer joined at intervals by a longitudinal reinforcement which opt has holes in it and is (partially) heat-insulating. It is embedded in the foam and prevents sliding under load. The panels have two metal plates at the edges and they are joined by an insulating brace and tensioning screws. The cavity between the sheets is filled with heat-insulatin foam in which is embedded a reinforcement consisting of insulating stays and metal cross-pieces. The cross-&ieces are not in contact with the outer sheets. The insulating foam is pref. of polyurethane.
