Abstract

L'invention concerne un trépan de forage. Selon l'invention, il comprend un corps 8 d'un diamètre donné tournant autour d'un axe dans un espace cylindrique, avec un côté inférieur comprenant un dôme; des branches 12 s'étendant vers le bas avec un tourillon s'étendant des extrémités inférieures des branches vers le bas et vers l'intérieur dans l'espace cylindrique en dessous du dôme, un corps d'outil de coupe à cônes rotatifs 16 sur le tourillon, des pièces rapportées trempées 44, 46, 48 s'en étendant, disposées autour de lui, et ayant une longueur telle que, quand le corps d'outil de coupe est en position de forage, au moins une partie de la pièce rapportée s'étende vers l'extérieur du corps de l'outil de coupe pour couper l'axe de rotation du corps du trépan tandis que le matériau du corps de l'outil de coupe en lui-même est espacé de cet axe. L'invention s'applique notamment aux formations tendres comme des calcaires, des gypses argileux ou analogues.
