Abstract

The tennis racket of tubular framed construction is filled with mouled material (26, 27) to reduce resonance. The frame may be of metal and be produced by extrusion or drawing processes. The frame comprises a member of rectangular section which is bent to form a partial head frame ring (2) with two legs (3) radiating parallel from the ring to form the handle sub-frame. A curved hollow brace (25) is installed to close the base of the head ring (2).
