Abstract

Four, pour recevoir un matériau à traiter avançant de façon continue, constitué par une rangée linéaire d'unités de four indépendantes. Dans chaque unité, le matériau est entouré par une paroi rayonnante d'une chambre de four. Chaque chambre est mise à feu par des brûleurs à gaz entourant le matériau à la sortie de la chambre. Les brûleurs comprennent une série de buses à gaz qui amènent le combustible avec ou sans air, radialement, dans la chambre vers le matériau et une série de buses d'air associées chacune avec une des buses à gaz qui amènent axialement l'air de combustion dans la chambre. Application notamment au traitement de barres ou billettes.
