Abstract

The conveyor system has an inclined belt (3) located below a screw conveyor. The screw conveyor may be moved so that its rotating axis is essentially in the vertical plane. The screw conveyor regulates the quantity of refuse supplied to the conveyor. The inclined conveyor is in the form of an endless belt. The screw conveyor may be duplicated with others placed side by side equally spaced along the inclined conveyor. The angle of the screw conveyor is such that the inclined conveyor converges onto the screw conveyor. The screw conveyor has a horizontal axis.
