Abstract

The security door consists of a metal doorframe with a door leaf having a metal framework covered on each side with armour plate faced with wood. The leaf also has a central metal plate connected to a multi-tumbler lock and provided with a shock detector, a heat detector and a lock control. The leaf is connected to the frame by hinges provided with ducts for the wires from the detection instruments in the leaf, the wires also being protected in the leaf by a tube. The leaf also has fingers which locate in holes provided in the frame which prevent it being removed.
