Abstract

L'invention concerne les essais de véhicules routiers. Le simulateur de l'invention comprend essentiellement un moteur électrique 18 qui est associé à un volant 16 et à un ventilateur 26 placés devant le véhicule à essayer pour simuler les conditions aérodynamiques sur route. Sous la commande d'un calculateur 28, le moteur 18 applique à la roue 10 un couple moteur ou un couple de freinage, pour simuler les conditions normales de fonctionnement. Application aux essais des véhicules routiers à poste fixe.
