Abstract

The connection circuit provides the call signal in a telephone network. The circuit receives signals on input terminals over telephone lines from a distant exchange and outputs the call signals on terminals and a local exchange. The circuit includes a differential amplifier associated with an opto-electronic coupling in the transmission sub circuit. Receiver circuit inlcudes a second differential amplifier and a rectifying element is included in the input output path. The opto electronic coupling includes light emitting diodes and corresponding detectors.
