Abstract

The folding key has two use positions. The key shank is pivoted at one end on a flat key head made from flexible deformable material. This key can be used as steering column lock key, electrical switch key or key for vehicle tool box. This key can also be used when the key head is folded over. The key head (2) has an opening of T shape for hinge pin. The central part (3) of this slot passes through key head circumference. The key shank is pivoted in the transverse slot pockets by end pins. The key shank has a section (12) without notches held within the slot of the head. The notchless section is a continuation of the notched part of the key shank.
