Abstract

The connector assembly consists of two parts mounted on the ends of hoses to be connected. The first part (10) has a bore (31) with which it fits over the tube (T) to be connected. The end has an external cone with slotted end, and two protruding spring hooks (22). An internal cone on the mating part is pushed over the external cone on the first part so that the slotted ends of this cone are pressed against the tube. If the mating part is pressed fully home, the spring hooks on the first part, snap over rims on the mating parts. To disconnect the coupling, the spring hooks must first be lifted.
