Dispositif à pignon et crémaillère comprenant une crémaillère montée de façon à pouvoir coulisser dans un boîtier et un dispositif hydraulique composé d'un cylindre distinct du boîtier de la crémaillère et d'un piston mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre pour fournir une assistance à la direction par entraînement de la crémaillère. b. Dispositif caractérisé en ce qu'un dispositif d'accouplement élastique est placé entre le dispositif hydraulique et la crémaillère. c. Dispositif appliqué à une direction assistée de véhicule automobile.
