Abstract

The support for a television set has a horizontal H-frame mounted centrally on a single leg. The bars (4) of the 'H' are of a partially edge flanked horizontal plate-form (6) and are adjustable for position along the bar (3) of the 'H'. The system adjusts to the size of the T. V. set and to accommodate the feet of the set. The main platforms (4) may have kerb-flanges (20, 21) to the front and external flank edges and be mounted on vertical transverse diaphragm plates (18, 15) of each end. The inner diaphragm (18) has a central cut-out (14) straddling the bar (3) of the 'H' and the outer diaphragm (15) supports a cantilever tenon (22) which fits telescopically in the bar (3) of the 'H'.
