Abstract

The automatic telephone or alarm booths unit has a vertical axis and trapezoid cross-section and is mounted on a plinth (2) which is also trapezoid, but of smaller cross section than the booth (1). The vertical corners of the booth are preferably rounded. The sloping surfaces (1a) of the trapezoidal booth (1). The booth (1) is pivot mounted in the plinth (2) with its position adjustable, depending on factors such as wind.
