Abstract

In the base of the front (1) and rear (2) of the seat, longitudinal grooves (3) are provided on branches (4) of a support (5) of bent tube which rests on the normal vehicle seat (8). A cross piece (6) fits under the base of the seat back (9), to prevent tilting. Legs (7) rest on the vehicle floor (10) to give extra support. The legs (7) are adjustable to allow of seats varying heights. The child's seat is made in two parts (13, 14) held together by a single fixing (12). A safety belt (11) is also incorporated.
