Abstract

The seed drill is self-contained and is detachably mounted on a supporting vehicle. Inside the seed drill are two endless screws (4, 5) parallel to each other rotating in contrary directions. An arm (7) pivot mounted on the axle of one screw (4) has an idler wheel (8) on its free end and on the axle of which is a pinion (9) joined to another pinion (6) on the outer end of the endless screw (4). Inside the drill is a distributor (11) formed of coaxial brush rollers. The brushes on each roller are staggered over the surface in relation to the adjacent roller. Behind the front of the drill casing (1) is a flow regulator (16), distributor grille (17), a safety locking drawer (18) and a deflector (19).
