Abstract

The sports hose for games involving running, especially a football boot, ensures the advantages of free mobility of the foot and unobstructed handling of the ball. Any bandaging of the feet for preventing twisting is not necessary and the ankle and achilles tendon are protected. A conventional sports shoe (1) is provided with uppers whose edge (8) is situated below the ankle bone. The shoe has a support (2) connected with the edge (8) of the uppers and this support projects above the ankle and encloses it. The support is provided with local flexible zones (11, 18) for ensuring the mobility in longitudinal direction of the foot. The support carries a perforated lacing strip (9). An opening is arranged on both sides of the perforated strip forming a flexible zone (11).
