Abstract

The goods transport device is typically for supply of material for packing, where an intermittent feed motion is required. A back-and-forth movement is stimulated by the aid of an eccentric which works on a central axle by the operation of freely rotating roller. The driven eccentric is moved by a rod attached to it, and slides on a guide fitted in a radial direction. Connection between the rod and the eccentric is made by a dove-tail joint, a re-entrant slot being cut into the surface of the eccentric wheel.
