Abstract

Ski boots which have on each lateral face, between the ankle bone, heel and achilles tendon of the skier, a thinner zone (6) which is relatively supple. On each zone there is a support strap (7) associated with an adjustable means to hold it under a fixed pressure. Each support strap pivots around a horizontal axle on the boot at the front and has a surface (8) curved towards the supple part. At the rear extremity of one strap there is a ring (10) and on the other there is a hook (12) with a series of notches (13) into which the ring fits.
