Abstract

An electric oven, with an enclosure in its upper part contg an electrical resistance for use as a grill, and with an outlet in its top for fumes, has a shallow box fixed against the top. The box is made of stainless steel and has narrow slots placed exactly opposite the circumvolutions of the resistance, which is placed close to the box. The slots have edges which project from its lower surface towards the corresp. part of the grill resistance. The slots are made by cutting out or stamping. Fumes and fatty vapours from the oven are destroyed en route to the outlet.
