Abstract
The cabinet, for electrical components, has a U-shaped profiled sheet forming the rear and side walls. The top and bottom edges of this U are foled inwards at 90 deg. to the walls and then inwards again through 90 deg. to form mounting surfaces for the bottom and top plates. The two front edges of the U are folded inwards through 180 deg. and then back through 90 deg. to make sunken lips to which the transverse front members and panels can be fixed. The advantage lies in simple manufacture of the parts and in avoiding soldering the corners.
