Abstract

The junction connector, for bare conductors, consists of a square base with two guide screws (2, 2') at diagonally opposite corners. Three conducting clamps (1) travel down the guide screws and clamp the conductors between them by means of tightening nuts (4, 4'). Each clamp consists of a square plate with orthogonal channels (3, 3') set into one face to hold the conductor. The channels are semicircular in cross-section. One pair of diagonal corners (5, 5') has slots to engage the screws.
