Abstract

The sectional sanitary cubicle is for installation within an existing building. The cubicle comprises two wall (2, 3) panels and a floor panel (1) which are built into an existing wall corner. The standard floor panel (1) now incorporates a shower base recess (12), and the space occupied by the cubicle is reduced by mounting the hand basin (53) externally. The floor and wall panels are joined by returne flanges on the abutting edges, and the cubicle is equipped with at least two appliances from a range comprising a toilet (50), a shower and a hand basin. One of the wall panels may be equipped with an external sub-panel (51) and brackets (51a) for the mounting of a hand basin (53) and ancillaries. The w.c. (50) within the cubicle may be substituted by a bidet.
