Abstract

Electromagnetic fuel injector valve for IC engines has a valve for loading and unloading of the upstream end of the nozzle closure member relative to hydraulic forces tending to open latter member. The valve has a slide (41) actuable by the magnet. A piston (42) within a bore of the slide is engageable with one end of the bore to close an outlet therein leading from an annular space around the piston to an actuator (221) for loading the nozzle closure member (22). The piston is biased into the open position by a spring (43) extending in blind holes provided in the confronting ends of the piston and the bore.
