Abstract

The frame is pivot-mounted on a vertical axis forming part of the trailer chassis. A loading appliance is mounted on the frame and can slide vertically along it. The loader can be locked in position by means of a pin which fits into holes in the frame and into one of two holes in the side and end of the trailer chassis. The loader consists of bars which slide vertically in sleeves fixed to the frame. The loader is moved by means of a lever which pivots on a horizontal axle forming part of the frame. At one end of the frame is hinged a link, the other end of which is hinged onto a cross-bar joining two of the vertical bars. A continuous loading-chain drive has a pulley pivot-mounted on a horizontal axis and touching the trailer wheel when in an operating position.
